Green Leaves Early Learning has announced the launch of its employee benefits and wellness program, Green Leaves Work Perks.

Designed around the company’s commitment to overall well-being, Green Leaves team members have always had access to a range of benefits such as professional development, training opportunities, mentoring programs, wellbeing programs, complimentary flu vaccination, milestone recognitions and Employee Assistance Programs.

“It has always been our intention to give back to our team members in a meaningful way. We’re all continuing to experience inflationary pressures on day-to-day living, and as an employer, supporting our people in a meaningful and personal way will allow them to thrive with us,” said Chief Executive Officer, Mark McDonald-Smith.

“The intent is to deliver a program that recognises and rewards our teams for being a part of the Green Leaves family,” Mr McDonald-Smith.

This benefit is in addition to the announcement earlier this year where Green Leaves Educators received access to a childcare discount of 75 per cent off gap fees, paying no more than $11 per child, per day*. This initiative supports existing team members as well as helps those looking to return to work after growing their own families.

The aptly named Green Leaves Work Perks now includes access to a portal that provides employees with discounts from over 400 retailers – from groceries to home essentials, travel booking and health insurance.

The program also includes features such as a strategic partnership with Westpac banking, salary sacrifice and the opportunity to cash out annual leave, flexible hours, annual salary reviews, a greater focus on wellness and wellbeing, as well as awards, team social events, providing healthy daily brekkie on us for Educators, job-share opportunities, relocation options and much more.

In terms of physical, mental and financial wellbeing, the Green Leaves Work Perks portal provides access to resources such as meditation guides, yoga workouts, healthy recipes and financial tools to assist with budgeting.

Senior Human Resources Manager, Louise Auer-Hernandez, has been developing the program and is excited to share its benefits with current and future team members.

“I’m delighted to see this program come to fruition. We want our teams to feel valued and enjoy the Green Leaves life by Green Leaves giving back.

We’re proud to have teams that genuinely care about our children, families, and each other and the high expectations they hold in delivering care and early education. To give back through the Green Leaves Work Perks program gives us great pleasure,” said Ms Auer-Hernandez.

Green Leaves is committed to a strong culture of recognition – being respected, supported, and valued is very much ingrained.

“Our employees demonstrate the Green Leaves commitments on a daily basis, prioritising the children and families in their care. Our Green Leaves Work Perks help us recognise those team members. We want them to know that we see them,” added Mr McDonald-Smith.
