Green Leaves Early Learning is excited to be a proud sponsor of The Valley District Cricket Club. Valley, as it’s fondly known, is a very successful club at the junior level with many returning players each season. The Club believes that junior cricket is about participating and learning the skill, and the importance of belonging, sharing, and having fun.

Green Leaves is proud to be part of a club that is built on a commitment to supporting players at a junior level. We value connections with local sporting communities – especially one that keeps our children active, engaged, and most importantly encourages them to have fun.

Being one of the oldest Brisbane district clubs, it’s no surprise that the Club is home to many notable players, including Brisbane Heat players Mark Steketee, Jack Wildermuth and Usman Khawaja, who also represent Australia.

The Valley District Cricket Club is located at the Ashgrove Sportsground Park, and is local to Green Leaves Ashgrove and Green Leaves Ashgrove Cottage. In the coming months, the team from Valley District Cricket will be visiting the centres for a session of catch.
