Green Leaves Early Learning Launceston has recently been awarded an Exceeding Rating as a result of their first National Quality Standard (NQS) rating and assessment. This result, which recognises the centre’s achievements across the seven quality areas. This is an outstanding effort by the whole team.
This means, that Green Leaves Launceston has exceeded National Quality Standards across all seven quality areas. Typically, the NQS requires a centre to meet a minimum of four out of seven areas to receive a Meeting Rating, which consist of the following:
- Educational program and practice
- Children’s health and safety
- Physical environment
- Staffing arrangements
- Relationships with children
- Collaborative partnerships with families and communities
- Governance and leadership
As part of our commitment in providing early education and care that exceeds traditional standards, the team at Green Leaves Early Learning Launceston is continually striving to increase their knowledge and understanding of theoretical perspectives, demonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety, provide an inclusive and supportive physical environment in consultation with the needs of families, engage in professional development to stay up to date on sector knowledge and nurture partnerships with families and local communities.
