Recipe: Easy Pizza Dough
Pizza is one of our most popular meals! Bring it right back to the basics with this authentic pizza base recipe. For added crispiness, you can use a pizza stone. It’s really simple and nothing beats the deliciousness of a homemade pizza. Once ready, garnish the base with your favourite toppings! Our favourite is cheese, ham and pineapple!
Ingredients
2 ½ cups sifted flour
1 sachet of yeast
1 ½ tablespoon oil
220mls hot water
Makes 2 Large Pizza Bases
Method:
- In a bowl combined yeast, oil and water.
- Sift the flour in and form a dough.
- Transfer dough onto a floured surface and knead for approximately 10 minutes
- Place the dough into an oiled bowl and cover with cling wrap, place somewhere warm and allow dough to rise
- Once the dough has risen divide into equal parts and roll out base
- Top with your favourite toppings and cook in the oven at 220°C or until your pizza is just how you like it.
Tip: If you don’t use all the dough, cling wrap the remainder and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
