Recipe: Easy Pizza Dough

Pizza is one of our most popular meals! Bring it right back to the basics with this authentic pizza base recipe. For added crispiness, you can use a pizza stone. It’s really simple and nothing beats the deliciousness of a homemade pizza. Once ready, garnish the base with your favourite toppings! Our favourite is cheese, ham and pineapple!

Ingredients

2 ½ cups sifted flour
1 sachet of yeast
1 ½ tablespoon oil
220mls hot water

Makes 2 Large Pizza Bases

Method:

  1. In a bowl combined yeast, oil and water.
  2. Sift the flour in and form a dough.
  3. Transfer dough onto a floured surface and knead for approximately 10 minutes
  4. Place the dough into an oiled bowl and cover with cling wrap, place somewhere warm and allow dough to rise
  5. Once the dough has risen divide into equal parts and roll out base
  6. Top with your favourite toppings and cook in the oven at 220°C or until your pizza is just how you like it.

Tip: If you don’t use all the dough, cling wrap the remainder and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
