Green Leaves Early Learning has been a proud sponsor of Forest Lake Junior Rugby Union Club since 2023. Also known as the Wasps, the Club’s home to teams ranging from under 5’s (known as Little Stingers), under 6’s to under 9’s, through to under 17’s.

Located at the Forest Lake District Junior Sporting Facility in Forest Lake, the Club is local to our Green Leaves Richlands centre. The family-focused Club was established in 2005 and is passionate about offering quality junior rugby union in the local community.

The Wasps play during the Winter season, with a focus on bringing children and young adults together. Children in the junior teams play on a smaller field with highly modified rules designed to develop their motor skills and team building skills. Having fun is the emphasis of the game for the Wasps! Barbeque and food are available on training nights, and siblings and friends are encouraged to come along to enjoy the games and fun in the park.

Registrations are currently open for the upcoming season and offer a great opportunity to build friendships and community spirit. We’re so excited for the season to kick off.

Green Leaves Richlands is looking forward to working with the Forest Lake Wasps, learning more about the Club, and hosting football workshops at our centre.
