Recipe: Seasonal Fruit Ice Block

As the weather warms up, the children at Green Leaves have been enjoying their favourite healthy treat – fruity ice blocks! They’re most delicious when enjoyed with friends. The best thing is, they’re simple to make at home with your little sous chef – you only need four ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 cup of Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey
1 cup of strawberries (blueberries or mango is a delicious alternative, too)
A splash of lemon juice

Method:

  1. You’ll need a popsicle mold.
  2. Blend the ingredients together in a food processor and fill the molds ¾ full.
  3. Freeze for about 4 hours.
  4. Remove and enjoy!
